1K2GO COFFEE
1K2GO COFFEE is a coffee brand we developed to fund our junior program while cultivating cycling and coffee culture. Enjoy something tangible while giving back!
Rally Me!
Rally Me is a unique service that allows us to setup a place where you can donate money that goes exclusively to helping juniors race!
Our goal is to help promote the development of junior cyclists in the state of Vermont through this fund.
Our state has produced many high caliber professional cyclists but many leave for other teams in places that can support larger programs. We want to change that by creating a development program that can support athletes to stay in the state of Vermont. It is our desire that our development program will keep riders here until they are ready to move on to professional teams.
This fund is backed by Jamey Driscoll, Bobby Bailey, and Adam Carr who are all products of Vermont development. These athletes have all raced professionally across the state, country and world. We hope to help our athletes grow from the state of Vermont and succeed because of Vermont and the Green Mountain Bicycle Club.
Funding Purpose:
In order to run this program succesfully, riders need access to quality and safe equipment. We have sponsors in place that help out but this sport can be very expensive. Riders will gain values by earning this equipment and learning how to properly care for it. This equipment can be passed down the ranks as riders grow out of it thus allowing new members to ride a capable bike.
Travel to larger races is a neccessary aspect of learning about racing. With proper funding and the watchful eye of a dedicated chaperone (senior racer) these riders can gain valuable experience and showcase talent from Vermont.
Funding will also go towards helmet drives and safety clinics for schools in conjunction with local bike advocates.
